TEAM PAWS Chicago is the athletic and fundraising program supporting PAWS Chicago, the midwest's largest No Kill animal shelter. Participants have the following options (please review each race page for fundraising deadlines, perks, and FAQ's before registering):

2018 TEAM PAWS Chicago Featured Races

ATHLETE'S CHOICE   When you register for Athlete's Choice you can select ANY athletic event you want, whether it's a 5K walk/run, golf, biking, half/full marathon, etc. Members selecting this option are responsible for their own event entry and commit to raising a minimum of $650 by 8:30 a.m. (Central) September 14, 2018.

BOA CHICAGO MARATHON -- We still have entries available! Our largest TEAM PAWS Chicago group, with over 420 runners in 2017, have three options when registering. Self-Secured are for those who have their own entry into the BOA Chicago Marathon but still want to receive our member perks and fundraise for PAWS Chicago. Pre Lottery are for those who register before the BOA Chicago Marathon lottery closes and will receive one of our guaranteed charity entries into the race. Post Lottery are for those who register after the lottery has closed and will receive one of our guaranteed charity entries into the race. Members commit to raising a minimum of $650 for Self Secured, $1,000 for Pre Lottery and $1,500 for Post Lottery by 8:30 a.m. (Central) September 14, 2018.

SHAKE YOUR TAIL COUCH TO 5K -- FULL for 2018

ROCK N ROLL SERIES-- We still have entries available! When you register for Rock N Roll, you can select ANY Rock 'N' Roll event (even Mexico City or Dublin!) and have the option to receive one of our charity entries for that race. Members commit to raising a minimum of $650 by 8:30 a.m. (Central) the third Friday before their race date.

TCS NEW YORK CITY MARATHON -- Only 6 entries left!    Members selecting this option will have the option to receive one of our 20 charity entries into the 2018 TCS NYC Marathon (first come, first served basis) and commit to raising a minimum of $3,000 (Pre Lottery) or $3,300 (Post Lottery) by 8:30 a.m. (Central) October 12, 2018.

2019 VIRGIN LONDON MARATHON ENTRIES!

2019 VIRGIN MONEY LONDON MARATHON We are now accepting applications for one of our 25 available Pre Lottery spots in the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon! You can download our application HERE which reviews the process or email us at teampaws@pawschicago.org. Applications are due on Friday, April 27, 2018. Selection announcements will be made on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Members for our Pre Lottery spots commit to raising a minimum of $7,500 by 8:30 a.m. (Central) Monday, April 1, 2019 and must be at 50% of the minimum ($3,750) by 8:30 a.m. (Central) on Thursday, November 1, 2018.

After our Pre Lottery is closed, we will open our Post Lottery period on Monday, May 7, 2018 with a minimum fundraising requirement of $8,500 due on April 1, 2019 and 50% of the minimum ($4,250) reached by November 1, 2018.
