Dubbed as “New York City’s Best Day,” on Sunday, November 5, 2023, TEAM PAWS Chicago members will run through the five boroughs of New York City for the TCS New York City Marathon, the biggest marathon in the world!
Pairing up with PAWS means saving thousands of lives. The money raised will go towards our No Kill mission. Running a marathon? It’s not easy. But you can rest easy afterwards knowing that each mile truly matters when you’re helping homeless animals.
You’ll also get some perks! You’ll receive guaranteed charity entry, an official TEAM PAWS singlet, five fan club tees, a shiny medal, access to social events and parties, fundraising tools, guided mentorship, discounted training, and that warm feeling of knowing that all your work helped save the lives of thousands of homeless and at-risk animals. Hey, running a marathon is tough. But knowing you’re helping to save thousands of lives will make each step worth it.

TCS New York City Marathon Requirements
TEAM PAWS Chicago is only one of a handful of animal welfare charities with secured entries! Members commit to raising funds to help homeless dogs and cats. The fundraising requirements for the TCS New York City Marathon are to raise:
50% of the minimum ($1,500) due by 8:30am (US Central Time) by Friday, July 7, 2023
100% of the minimum ($3,000) due by 8:30am (US Central Time) by Friday, October 13, 2023
Please note that for 2023 the TCS NYC Marathon also requires that all participants must pay their own race entry into the marathon and must be fully vaccinated in order to participate.
