Jared's PAWS Chicago Marathon Fundraising

Thank you so much for visiting my page. For several years I have been involved with PAWS Chicago, for which I plan to run my fourth marathon next year. PAWS is the animal shelter where I got my two beloved dogs, Sylvia and Parker (picture attached) from.

PAWS is an amazing organization I have been involved with since 2013 as a volunteer and the experience has been incredibly rewarding. I've seen so many wonderful dogs and cats find their "forever homes," spent time with and walked so many wonderful pups.

As a fellow animal lover, I wanted to ask for a small contribution to my 2022 Chicago marathon fundraising, which will be the fourth that I run with PAWS.

Your contribution goes directly toward saving thousands of homeless pets each year, treating and rehabilitating sick and injured animals and uniting them with loving families. Funds are also used to support PAWS’ focus on prevention, providing nearly 18,000 low cost/free spay or neuter surgeries.

PAWS Chicago is dedicated to building No Kill communities – starting with a No Kill Chicago – where all treatable pets are saved. Since PAWS Chicago’s founding in 1997, the number of homeless animals euthanized per year in Chicago has dropped more than 91 percent. In 2020, PAWS Chicago found loving homes for more than 4,100 homeless pets.

But there is more work to be done and your generosity is crucial to this effort. Please consider supporting me by making a donation and helping PAWS Chicago provide vital medical care, food and shelter to thousands of homeless pets this year.

Your support will allow us to build a truly humane and compassionate community, one pet at a time.

Please consider donating to my cause. If you are feeling extra generous, please consider sharing my page with your network or check with your employer if they will match your donation to make the most out of your generosity.

Thank you for your support!
