Welcome to my 2019 Fundraising page!

2019 has been off to a great start as I welcomed my right-hand buddy, Watson, into my life! He has been an absolute delight (other than that time he was teething as it turned him into a furry little shark!)

As many of you know, I adopted him when he was about 3 ½-4 months old from PAWS Chicago. I was told he was found wandering around a lake by himself in Oklahoma. If it wasn’t for organizations like PAWS, who knows what would have happened to him. They took care of him and ensured he was up to date on all of his vaccinations, neutered and ready to find his forever home. Lucky me!
If you have had the chance to meet him, he is truly a sweetheart (one of my many nicknames for him already) and absolutely loves to snuggle, even during summer. Speaking of, summer running season is in full swing! See the races I plan to run this year for team PAWS!

All of the races I plan to run this year:
1. Shamrock Shuffle 8K: Sunday March 24, 2019-completed! (PR-ed!)
2 . Proud to Run 10K: Saturday June 29, 2019 (one of my better 10K's)
3. Rock N Roll Half Marathon: Sunday July , 2019 (it was hard this time around)
4. BTN Big Ten 10K: Sunday August 11, 2019 (Felt great even after running 14 miles the day before)
5. Lifetime Triathlon (team): Sunday August 25, 2019 (somehow managed after a painful long run the previous day)
6. CES 20-miler: Saturday September 15, 2019
7. Chicago Lifetime Half Marathon: Sunday September 29,2019
8. Bank of America Chicago Marathon: Sunday October 13, 2019

So join me as I attempt the Chicago marathon for the third time and hopefully reach my goal to run it sub 4 hours (insert eye roll). Help me save lives of homeless pets on behalf of PAWS Chicago and donate to help furry friends like Watson!
