Thank you for visiting my PAWS Chicago 5K Walk/Run For Their Lives fundraising page! As you probably already know, PAWS Chicago has a very special place in my heart. Over the last year I have taken my dedication to a new level being named Volunteer of the Year last year with 750+ hours served to date not counting my foster efforts saving more than 200 furry lives to date. This year I joined the Development Board with hopes of bringing more awareness and fundraising to the table. I'm all in and would love it if my network will help support my efforts.
Every year in Chicago, nearly 9,000 cats and dogs are euthanized because they simply don’t have a place to call home. As someone who loves animals, I cannot let this continue. That’s why I’ve decided to participate and fundraise for PAWS Chicago’s 5K Walk/Run For Their Lives.
I hope you will consider supporting this effort by donating today.
PAWS Chicago (Pets Are Worth Saving) is a national model in No Kill animal sheltering, committed to bringing an end to the killing of homeless cats and dogs. As Chicagoland’s largest No Kill shelter, and one of the largest in the nation, PAWS has helped to reduce the number of homeless pets killed in the city by 92% since its founding in 1997. PAWS Chicago has grown from a grassroots organization to a national leader in the No Kill movement, guiding other communities in how to dramatically reduce the euthanasia of homeless cats and dogs. Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest independent evaluator, has rated PAWS Chicago at its highest 4-star ranking for 19 consecutive years—an accomplishment that less than 1% of the charities in the nation have reached. Recently we achieved over 80,000 adoptions and 300,000 spay/neuter surgeries to help fight the good fight.
Please share my page with your network to help spread the word and save furry lives!
Thank you for your support.
